Point a domain to your hosting

Two ways to connect a domain: nameservers or A record.

Option 1 — Nameservers (recommended)

Set nameservers to the ones in your hosting welcome email (typically ns1/ns2.keetonhosting.com). Hosting will then create the DNS zone automatically, including MX for mail.

Option 2 — A record

Keep DNS at the current provider and set an A record for @ (root) and www pointing to the hosting IP address shown in cPanel → General Information.

If your email lives on a different provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), Option 2 is safer — Option 1 will rewrite MX.
