Before you start

• The domain must be at least 60 days old at the losing registrar.
• It must not have been transferred in the last 60 days.
• WHOIS privacy must be off temporarily (some registrars require this).
• The admin email on the domain must be reachable.

Transfer steps

1. At the losing registrar: unlock the domain and request the EPP/authorization code.
2. At shop.keetonhosting.com: start Domains → Transfer, enter the domain and the auth code.
3. Pay the transfer fee — this includes one year of renewal.
4. Approve the confirmation email we send to the admin contact.
5. Wait 5–7 days for the final release. DNS is preserved — no downtime.
